In relation to my message in the previous newsletter, I received an e-mail mentioning that things were not as easy as I perceived them, that the situation was very complicated and that many people would not have a job or would have lost their business “once the sun came up”.
Responding to the above I would like to manifest that I am still thinking the same things I stated on my previous message.
There is no doubt that it is better to live in an environment without crisis, but these stages which are many times unavoidable in peoples’ lives (divorce), in cities (earthquakes), in countries or the entire word, such as the current financial and economic crisis, should make us think in every level about what to do to come out of the problem and set the foundations so that these adverse conditions do not present themselves in the future.
We have two options: to surround ourselves in a negative and pessimistic environment or go out and look for solutions. Many of the good ideas, policies or attitudes of people, companies and countries are born in tough times.
In these times we can adopt a comfortable posture as a spectator, the passive attitude of watching things and then approve or criticize, or we can adopt the decision of acting, resolve and improve things.
After this crisis we will see that many persons and companies will come out strengthened with new ideas and strategies on how to better carry out their activities.
Also after this crisis we will see that many people and companies will not continue with the activity they had been doing.
It is up to each and every one of us if in the future we want to talk about how we won the crisis in our environment, what we learned from it and how we strengthened ourselves, or talk about how we gave up facing the crisis.
