Proposals to reactivate the housing demand in Spain and the world will be given.
The expo center brings 220 companies together.
The reactivation of the Spanish economy through tax promotion and public expenditure was the central issue in the tenth edition of the Real Estate Conference of Madrid 2009, that began last Tuesday as prelude to the Real Estate Salon in Madrid (SIMA09).
The eleventh edition of SIMA starts on Wednesday May 27 and will end May 30. Specialist from the real estate sector and company directors of the sector in Spain and other countries including Mexico will meet on the first day.
Together they will talk about proposals to establish the foundations of the current situation of the real estate business and find solutions to reactivate the demand.
To the international program the President of Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI), Pedro Trueba de Torres, was invited and will be presented on Wednesday next to other experts of the United States, Argentina and Brazil. They will talk about the residential and commercial sector in the US and Latin America.
Other issues they will talk about are: The crisis and the impact in the global real estate sector; American real estate markets; Business situation and opportunities; Challenges and opportunities of the global real estate crisis, among others.
Housing perspectives in Spain
The housing Minister in Spain. Ms. Beatriz Corredor attended the International Real Estate Salon in Madrid, who said that the elimination of the deduction due to housing purchase for rents over 24.000 Euros starting in 2011 is a measure that will benefit middle class families.
The initiative of the Executive that we announced in hogaresnoticia.com continues benefiting families that need help accessing the housing market, said Corredor.
In the frame of the inauguration of the Real Estate Conference in Madrid, the Chief Economist of Intermoney (values society), Mr. José Carlos Díez Gangas, talked about the current situation of the real estate sector.
He stated his optimism in relation to the soon reactivation of the economy, although he appealed to prudence. “We are still facing risky sceneries and adjustments are still to be made”.
Díez Gangas considered that the reduction in the housing prices in Spain is getting to an end, although it is marginal in some geographic zones.
Expo Center
On the other hand, some local media have emphasized in their pages the participation of 220 companies in this SIMA edition, a third of those that participated last year and that will “try to attract a very discerning demand that expected discounts and financial solutions that facilitate access to a house”.
Real estate agencies with a stand in the expo center offer discounts of up to 50% off in their offers presented this year. Many visitors are looking for their first home, as inexpensive as possible, instead of investors that used to attend previous editions.
Financial entities such as Caja Madrid, Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo, Banco Santander, and La Caixa, will be present and Institutions such as Empresa Municipal de la Vivienda del Ayuntamiento de Madrid. (Writing with SIMA information and agencies/ PHOTO: casadomo.com) |
