The real estate leader, Pedro Trueba de Torres, assured that in times like these where financial instruments show an impressive volatility, the best investment option in Mexico is real estate.
The national president of Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios A.C. (AMPI) stated that in the country the investment in real estate always benefits safely in the long and medium term according to the different zones in the country.
In interview, after swearing in the Board of Directors 2009 of the Tijuana, Mexicali, Rosarito Beaches and San Quintin sections of AMPI, he assured that it is the best investment because real estate never loses its value.
Trueba de Torres stated that in times of crisis, the association would be able to apply different measures for AMPI associates in the country, benefiting the consumer of real estate services.
He said that currently and despite of the world economic crisis, for some people it is a good opportunity to sell, while for others it is to buy, “depends on the needs of every individual”.
However, he noted that Baja California being neighbor of one of the richest states in the world, California, would have to slowly recover itself from the current situation, "we will always have to see it in the long term”.
He said that Mexican real estate professionals are confident that American investors will continue investing in the country, because it has always been an enviable destination for them due to the weather and warmth of the Mexican people.
