Through this means I consider it important to share with our members some of the activities and achievements reached during the first quarter of 2009.

In regards to the communication I am pleased to inform you that the associate and affiliate directory is now in on our web page www.ampi.org an its operating in 95% of its capacity as we were informed by our Communications Vice-President Arq. Jorge Aguilar.  I recommend that before entering the directory you check that your information is correct and if you have any corrections get in touch with our offices so we can correct your data.

I also inform you that the information newsletter will be delivered every two weeks and if you want it to be delivered to a special person or client, please send us their e-mail address to boletín@ampi.org and we will gladly include them in our mailing list.

Regarding the benefit agreements program for our associates and affiliates I inform you that last March 20 we signed an agreement with the Best Western Mexico hotel chain that among many other this offers our members special discounts on hotel rates.

Talking about training, we already have available 25 courses that I ask you to review in the corresponding section and let us know which are the ones you want to take in your sections. Colleagues in the Villahermosa section presided by Mary Lolys Alvarez gave the first two courses of the year; we hope there were helpful.

Our Executive Vice-President, C.P. Héctor Obregón, has visited Los Mochis, Tijuana, León and Mérida to carry out the Regional Meetings with the region coordinators and section presidents to listen the needs, complaints and suggestions of each particular section. In the next two months he will visit the remaining regions so he can have a complete picture of what are the needs of each section in the country and attend the particular needs.
