On 9 February 2010, took place the swearing in of the new Board of the AMPI Section Villahermosa, chaired by the CP Yolanda López Aguilar; with the participation of the governor of the state of Tabasco, QFB Andrés Rafael Granier Melo. The national president of AMPI, CP Héctor Martín Obregón Serrano, gave recognition to the state governor for supporting the sector, and for the impulse provided for the approval of the Operating Law of Real Estate in Tabasco, passed by the congress on7 October 2009, with which the state becomes the third in the country to have a law on the subject.
CP Yolanda López Aguilar, president of AMPI Section Villahermosa, stressed that the main objective of her work program 2010 is to strengthen the internal structure, the presence and prestige of the Association in and out of Tabasco for providing better service to society, promote and implement the new Operating Law of Real Estate, and encourage training to ensure quality of service provided by real estate consultants.
The ceremony took place in the Salón Grijalva of the Camino Real Hotel at 5:30 pm.

The new board is constituted by CP Yolanda López Aguilar, president; Lic. Olga Adriana Jiménez Cabrales, vice president; Lic. Leticia López Aguilar, treasurer; Rodrigo Fuentes López, training director; Lic. Verónica Olán García, director of memberships; Ing. Rubén Rodríguez Martínez, director of stock estate; Lic. Javier Vidaurri Cámara, director of communications and public relations; CP Joanna Cistal Monroy Tepepa, secretary.
Medal for the Merit in Business
On 10 February 2010, the event “Medal for the Merit in Business”, was held in Villahermosa, Tabasco. The medal was awarded to Lic. David Gustavo Gutiérrez Ruiz, a prominent businessman and politician. The governor of Tabasco, QFB Andrés Rafael Granier Melo, attended to the ceremony together with CP Héctor Martín Obregón Serrano, AMPI national president; from CMIC, Ing, José Eduardo Correa Abreu; from CANIRAC, Lic. Braulio Cárdenas Cantú; and also local authorities and leaders.
As part of the event, a panel on “Dialogue for Business Development of Tabasco and the Southeast” was organized. The national presidents of the different chambers attended, so did the president of the Coordinating Council of Tabasco, CP José Estrada Garrido and Lic. Mario de la Cruz Sarabia, Economic Development Secretary.
