This is the penultimate number of the Newsletter in this 2009, therefore, and by summarizing the main achievements of this year, I mention among others the following:
1. - Administration: Today we have a national AMPI office, which operates efficiently, which has trained staff in strategic areas that will make things to work; that the programs have continuity for our Association has a positive growth in all directions. We have no longer dependent on the timing of the president and the ministers. Certainly in the next year we will make adjustments to improve performance, but the first step is given.
Today we have 58 sections (8 more to open) we know the strengths and weaknesses of each one, which will allow us to help them accomplish their mission. We have the office that our members need and deserve.
2. - Communication: In 2009 communication was generated as never before had been made in AMPI history
Our communication system was integrated by the magazine (3) with a circulation of 5,000 each to our fortnightly newsletter is now sent over 13,000 emails, our website which has received more than 1'412, 000 visitors, and that among other tools has a directory of partners and affiliates fully updated and a growing real estate stock market and finally, direct communication by email and phone we had with our membership. We will also be ready in the coming days the Board of Associates and Partners in paper.
Under this, the image of AMPI and its Partners and Affiliates, spread to more people, this will make customers prefer our members to hire real estate services
3. - Capacitating: During 2009 we approach the subject from different fronts, as it is a vital issue for the professionalism, development and success of our members
a) Courses: We put together a portfolio of 25 training courses and gave training to approximately 250 people.
b) CONOCER: With regard to certificates of CONOCER, we made in 2009, AMPI being recognized as a center evaluator in three certifications, i.e., real estate market, in mortgage loans and administration of condominiums. AMPI will also be certifying body. We can offer now to our Partners and Affiliates these certifications at very affordable prices. AMPI will be the near future Management Committee
c) Senior Technical in Real State Marketing: This year, the first process was completed and obtained the first 65 respective professional degrees and certificates. Also started the second process that will give a second generation of more professional real estate.
d) AMPI´s Statistics, Research and Training Center: Through itsapproval in an Extraordinary Assembly, was given life to this figure surely will consolidate all training efforts which AMPI do to date. This center will be the big trigger of our Association in the coming years.
4. - Congress: Despite the difficult times in economics and security, we had a Congress that exceeded the average attendance for the last 7 meetings. In it, training events and social union successfully met its goal.
Importantly to mention, in addition to our Regular Assembly for the first time in AMPI history an Special Assembly was held outside the Federal District, it were represented 19 sections (the largest number of sections represented in a Special Assembly), which helped to democratize decisions of our Association. The objective of the Special Session was to update our statutes, which was achieved.
We also conduct the first Meeting of Women Realtors that was very useful for the attendees.
5. - Institutional Relationships: Relationships were strengthened with institutions like CONAVI (CONAVI-AMPI agreement was signed during the conference to promote sales of existing homes) and INFONAVIT; also strengthened or initiated relationships with housing associations in the United States, Canada, Spain, France, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil, Central America.
This will achieve in coming years, AMPI will have a greater role in the international property scene and our members will be directly benefited.
2009 was difficult year?… yes.
2009 was a year of opportunities? … yes.
The Board of Directors, took the challenge and works in a serious and committed way and created a new horizon of opportunities for AMPI and its members.
