Interaction, the 14th section Monterrey AMPI Real Estate Forum, held on November 17th as its headquarters the majestic facilities of the Monterrey Industrial Club, gave us an appointment to inform and enable us on a first-hand about trends and market outlook.
Actions and proposals for the real state industry was the slogan that was used as a promo for the event and was exactly what we get from the speakers and panellists who presented throughout the day.
We started with Juan Gerardo Garza, who built on his impressive resume talked about the values and ethics that sometimes appear to be lost and actually support the property business.
Later, Oscar Marquez, a leading international real estate trainer located in New York, gave us tools and techniques to capture and sell more and better locations. Without doubt, he managed to motivate the audience to break down barriers and jump into the change and improvement in the ways of selling our services.
One of the amazing conferences was given by Everardo Elizondo, who with all his experience of years as governor of the Bank of Mexico, provided to us an overview of the current global economic situation and introduced us the recovery trends for 2010.
Another amazing conference was given by Eugene Towle, who at the head of Softec, introduced us at first hand the global housing market trends, national and local, resulting more than interesting to know the needs of housing, commerce and services for the next 40 years in Monterrey and its metropolitan area.
Also very well supported was the panel of leaders and real estate experts who moderated by Juan Ignacio Barragán gave us a vision for the sustainable development of the Monterrey metropolitan area, presenting actions and proposals to this changing real estate industry.
The stunning scenery of the Industrial Club witnessed more than 500 attendees to the Real State Forum where besides to inform us and train us, had the opportunity to interact during the coffee breaks, brunches and closing cocktails, tightening ties between the real estate community and having also the perfect mark for business lead.
Without doubt, we get valuable information and innovative proposals that will allow us to grow professionally and take action all over our business activity.
Congratulations to the organizing committee and look forward to the next Real Estate Forum which it promises to be quite a challenge when it merged with the National AMPI Congress 2010, as part of the celebration of the first 25 years of the Monterrey section by programming a whole week of activities related to training and synergy between real estate professionals throughout the Republic, the Valley of Texas, sister cities in the neighbouring country and of course, the entire real state local community.
We will have to program into the next year agenda, because the date is already given, shall be on November 10th to November 15th and the venue will be the Foundry Park which has the largest convention center in the state, two 5 star hotels, the Arena Monterrey, where there will surely be good concerts, Santa Lucia Walk, Cineteca and of course, the Old Town with excellent restaurants, bars, galleries and museums among other activities.
See you next year.
