Last September 2 in the town of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, about 19:00 pm., was gave the opening and inauguration of the 1st Business Center of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals in the Riviera Maya. A.C. (AMPI RM) which is located within the premises of the exhibition's permanent real estate International Realty Center (RIC), this business model is unique in Latin America and required an investment of one million 300 thousand U.S. dollars. This ambitious building has an area of 850 thousand m2 and has among its facilities a training room for 90 people, a cinema room for 25 people, administrative area, legal advice and sales, copy center, meeting rooms and multipurpose and a playground and cafeteria.
Throughout this complex converge 100 different exhibitors of which 70 of them are developers and the others are providers of services related to housing activity that permanently offer their products and services to the general public.
The inauguration was in charge of Eduardo Ovando Martinez, in personal representative of C. Governor Mr. Félix Arturo Gonzalez Canto, the mayor of Solidarity, C. Román Quian Alcocer, our National President of AMPI, Mr. Pedro Trueba de Torres and Mr. Wilberth Gutiérrez Alvarez, President of AMPI Riviera Maya section. The event brought together more than 500 people among special guests at the federal, state and municipal as well as various personalities in the industry and of course real estate business.
Why is this AMPI Business Center important? This business case sets a precedent as to the way we do business, the way we see the market and respond to it, besides it is the contribution of AMPI Riviera Maya to the entire partnership as the partnership agreement which was signed with RIC this center open the doors to all partners of the country which only have to submit their AMPI credential to may use its facilities.
There are expansion plans for bringing this model to other parts of the republic, hence its importance.
I take this opportunity to do our most cordial invitation for you to know the center, to use it and see in it an excellent sales tool.
It is extremely important not to forget that the essence of being is that these business centers become the rallying point of all stakeholders in housing activity and what a best opportunity for AMPI to be the vehicle of union between all sector.
All members of AMPI should be proud of this partnership of which you are being witnessed today and that goes beyond a mere expression of intent, essentially aims at uniting the industry, be an element of unity and above all puts in the center of the property business to our Association, Quintana Roo and in particular to Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya to be national example of a business model in the coming years we could see it extrapolated to other parts of Mexico and the world.
I sincerely hope that actions like this can motivate to participate more dynamically in the everyday events of our association, that this Business Center which opens its doors today, be that, a true center of activity that generates trade, which contributes to strengthening the industry and be the icon of real estate activity in our state of Quintana Roo and the Country.
