How find and hire a Realtor? If you are thinking about selling or buying a property there is no one better than a Realtor to help you with the process. But not just any agent. Before deciding, do your homework, so that you feel confident and do not have to regret later.
• Choose someone who has been referred to you by a friend that has previously worked for him. Definately through recommendations of relatives and/or friends that have worked with the Realtor and that know about his reputation, knowledge, effort and work".
• If this is not the case, contact a company of prestige that generates confidence and that specializes in the area of your preference. For example Re/Max is Internationally recognized organization, by naming one.
• Also it is good to check (can be done by Internet) that the agent that you hire has their active and valid license approved by the state where they are working. For example, in the state of Sonora you can go to the Internet site http://www.1economiasonora.gob.mx/files_agentes/listado_agentes_inmobiliarios.pdf, the Office of the secretary of Economy.
• Another important factor that offers security and confidence is to ask if the agent belongs to some national Real Estate organization. Especially if you are a foreigner and do not feel comfortable negotiating in Spanish, or have fear of not adequate communication skills due to the difference of the languages, the National Association of Real Estate Professionals exists (AMPI) whose members are in the best position to respond to all the needs of the foreigners in Mexico related to real estate. www.ampi.org/que-es-ampi.php
• Inspired by the key of success of a colleague and successful friend, which has been: "Keep yourselves informed and active in the profession, perseverance, listening to opinions of other professionals in the area and above all, to treat the clients in the manner in which you would like to be treated". My last recommendation is that you select those professionals that are in the best position to help you, are capably prepared and joins AMPI (National Association of Real Estate Professionals). Do spend some time in doing a small investigation, question to your friends, review the press and spend some time on the Internet that can be fun to see where it leads. You will not regret spending some time finding the Realtor that most agrees. Good luck!
