Purísima Concepción. Built on the second half of the 18th century. It offers an elegant architecture formed by three main naves. Its façade has a baroque style and it still has some of the fine furniture made from wood. Without a doubt it is the most representative symbol of the town.
Main Square. Meeting place for locals. It has gardens, palm tress and a 100-year old kiosk. It is the meeting place for Patron Saint festivities and outdoor exhibitions.
- Municipal Palace. In January it is the main stage for the Dr. Alfonso Ortiz Tirado Festival. This building was constructed in 1899. Its structure is supported by 48 iron columns and has a lovely brick view with large windows and a tower in the upper front face.
- The Alameda. It's the traditional walkway for the Álamos’ people. It is a cobblestone plaza, with stone benches an it is surrounded by impressive alamos. The Municipal Market is located on the side.
- The Kiss Alley. Typical nook of Álamos popular among locals and visitors. This walkway tells romantic stories that any local can narrate them to you.
- María Félix’s house. The legendary "Doña" of Mexican movies, María Félix, was born here. Where her house was located now we fid a hotel with restaurant and a small museum dedicated to the actress where you can appreciate photographs, old magazines and other objects used by this movie diva. Customs Museum of Sonora. This place is unique in the State because it houses a rich cultural heritage that represents a historic, social and cultural journey in the region. The museum is located in a building of the 18th century; it shows a variety of everyday use objects, photographs, documents and machines. Art workshops and guided visits are offered.
