What do you think. In my opinion this year is going by so fast! A few days ago I was reading in different written media that this sensation is latent in many people, and the question is: Why this sensation? Regardless of the answer we could give, the reality is that we are starting the sixth month which ends the first half of the year, so as giddy and dizzy this semester has gone by, there is no doubt the same will happen in the shorter (due to the business days offered) second semester of 2009.
Is the popular saying that states: “time goes by slowly for those who don’t know what to do and too fast for those who are full of ideals and goals to reach” true? Personally, I agree with the above and therefore I consider that the main challenge will be to prioritize ideals and activities for what is left of 2009.
It is true we all have raked our goals. However I have no doubt that if we were to share them, we would agree with most of them: Family (and everything it implies), our health, personal and professional goals, citizen participation, etc; and we would also agree in our dearest AMPI. And now is the time to ask ourselves: To what did I commit to achieve? How much have I advanced? Do I have enough time? We are the only ones that have the answer; but in relation to time, we will all say yes because “where there is a will, there is a way”.
Lets commit to work hard and in a timely manner with the time we still have left of this year. Lets remember what Renato Leduc said, “Wise virtue to know the time… I ignored that time was gold…”and the popular saying that states: “Time flies …” and I say, not that I was asked or anything but, -do not trust time -, if we can do it, do it as soon as possible. Remember that by doing so we strengthen AMPI and as a consequence we strengthen ourselves… or what do you think?
